A cashcloud Prepaid MasterCard® is a payment card that can be loaded with money and used to pay bills and make purchases at shops, by phone or over the internet wherever MasterCard® is accepted. It's so easy - and more convenient, and safer than cash.

The cashcloud Prepaid MasterCard® offers various advantages:

  • No fee for the first year – just top up with 10€, receive your card and spend your 10€ immediately
  • No credit-check, no bank history, no salary slips required
  • No connections to your bank account needed
  • It is prepaid – more convenient and safer than cash
  • It comes with an mobile Wallet: full control of your outgoings, send and request money with friends, fully flexible
  • Full MasterCard® that you can use for online and offline payments
  • Download the cashcloud app, register for free and top up your account with minimum 10€
  • Tap on “+” button on your dashboard and choose the Prepaid card
  • Fill in your data and confirm your order
  • You will receive your card within a few days

Your Prepaid card should arrive within 7 days after you have placed your order.

We are glad to offer to our users a Prepaid MasterCard® for the lowest price possible which even includes the first year for free. The only request we ask our clients for such a good value product is an mobile Wallet balance of 10€ in advance. Once you receive your Prepaid card you can use the 10€ directly for your first purchases.

To order and activate your cashcloud Prepaid MasterCard® you need to download and register in the cashcloud mobile Wallet app. Additionally you can check your balance and transactions anytime with just a few taps in the section “MasterCard® transactions”.

The Prepaid MasterCard® has no annual fee for the first year, you just need to have an mobile Wallet balance of 10€ and we will not charge any fee. For the second year of usage there is a fee of 10 € which will be automatically deducted from your mobile Wallet account. Some special services can cause some fees. The credit limit is similar to your usage limit and is determined by your mobile Wallet account type. If you want to have a higher usage limit simply upgrade your mobile Wallet account type. You can find further information within the app in the section personal settings – upgrade.

A cashcloud Prepaid MasterCard® is very secure because you can only spend what you have loaded on the card. With the app, you have your outgoings always in view. It is safer than cash because if your card gets lost or stolen you can suspend your card instantly preventing loss of your money.

The cashcloud Prepaid MasterCard® is a MasterCard® Chip and PIN card. This means it can be used everywhere the MasterCard® Acceptance Mark is displayed, in a similar way as a bank card or credit card. A PIN is required for any transaction in store or at an ATM.

After you have received your card, please tap on the Prepaid Card box on the dashboard of your cashcloud app. Tap on “Activate” button, type in your CVC2 and your card is ready for use. You can get your PIN using “Request PIN” function from the same menu.

You can add money to your cashcloud Prepaid MasterCard® from your mobile Wallet, using "Load" function available in the MasterCard® transaction section.

You can withdraw cash from any cash machine (ATM) that displays the MasterCard® Acceptance Mark. You will be charged a fee for this transaction. For more information about the fees please check Fees page.

You can make maximum 3 balance loads per day and maximum 60 per month.

To see your MasterCard® balance you have to log in the cashcloud app and check the amount displayed on the Prepaid Card box on the dashboard.

You can check the Prepaid MasterCard® statement in real time using the cashcloud app: from MasterCard® transactions list tap on the Prepaid Card box from the Dashboard.

Since the cashcloud Prepaid MasterCard® is based on the prepaid principle you will not receive an invoice because all your purchases are paid from your prepaid account. Furthermore with the cashcloud mobile Wallet app you have the opportunity to check your balance and transactions anytime with just a few clicks in the section “MasterCard® transactions”.

Yes. When completing your online transaction, select MasterCard® as the payment option. You may be asked for the following items: the card number (the 16 digit number on the front of the card), the end/expiry date (last date on the front of the card under "valid thru"), the last 3 digits on the signature panel on the reverse of the card, also called CVC2, and the name on the card.

No, the cashcloud Prepaid MasterCard® is not contactless. If you want a contactless product you can order the MasterCard® contactless NCF (Near Field Communication) Sticker.

The money on your Prepaid MasterCard® account can only be used to make purchases in stores and online. If you want to send money to your friends you can do this with the money in your mobile Wallet account within the cashcloud mobile Wallet app.

There can be a number of reasons why your Prepaid MasterCard® might not work.

In store:

  • You may not have sufficient funds in your account. Check your MasterCard® balance.
  • A temporary systems problem may have prevented authorization or the card details may have been input incorrectly by the retailer, so it’s worth trying again.
  • Your PIN may not be working.

Online

  • You may have entered your card details incorrectly. Please try again taking care to enter your details exactly as they appear on your card
  • A systems error may have prevented the online transaction from being processed, so it’s worth trying again.

If you enter the wrong PIN twice, nothing will happen. But if you enter it incorrectly 3 times in a row it will be blocked. To have it unblocked please contact our Customer Support.

If your card is broken, faded or blurred, you can order a replacement in your cashcloud app. First you need to contact Customer Support in order to cancel your initial card or you can declare it lost or stolen from the cashcloud app. Then go to dashboard, tap on the "+" button and select "Order Prepaid Card" and follow the steps. After your card expires you can order a replacement one using your "Order Prepaid Card" function. For more information about the fees please check Fees page.

When your card is renewed you will receive a new card with new card number, card account number, CVC2 and PIN. You will have to activate your new card in order to be able to use it. The balance of the old card will be available on the new card right after activation.

If your card has been lost or stolen you have to use the cashcloud app to declare it lost or stolen immediately, using the function "Lost/Stolen" from MasterCard® transactions list. You will have to enter the CVC2 code that you can find in the letter that accompanied the card or in the app in section "Virtual Card". Follow the steps and your card will be deactivated.

You can use "Suspend" function from cashcloud app in MasterCard® transactions screen and reactivate it later by using "Activate" function. You might be charged for this action. For more information about the fees please check Fees page.

You must be at least 18 years old to be able to order a cashcloud Prepaid MasterCard®. For users aged under 18 we offer the MasterCard® contactless NFC Sticker.

You can have only one active Prepaid MasterCard® at a time. You can combine that with a MasterCard® contactless NFC Sticker on the same account. If a second product is ordered, a fee will apply. For more information about the fees please check Fees page.
